iTunes is a free organizer and digital music player for your Mac or PC. iTunes Store brings all the latest music , videos and movies to you. Whenever you want to watch any TV show, listen to music or want to enjoy any movie, just tune in to your iTunes Store and browse easily. You may like to maintain a library for your own favorites and most frequent tracks; iTunes Store takes care of that. Sounds like you can enjoy the same from other media players as well? Well, iTunes Store allow you to rent or buy blockbuster movies, shop for books, and most importantly download apps for your iPhone, iPad or iPod. As part of iCloud, iTunes in the Cloud takes what you buy on iTunes on one device and pushes it to all your other devices, wirelessly and without syncing. There is much more entertainment and fun but before all that , we should now move on to our topic and see how to start with iTunes.
1- Download iTunes:
Of course, you need to download the iTunes Store first to make use of it. Where to find it? Quite simple; just log on to www.apple.com/itunes and you will be taken into the iTunes Store.You will see a download button; click it and your download will be started. If you are new to Apple and you are wandering through the Apple App Store checking for the noteworthy applications, you may feel interested about any particular app. When you click on it, you will see an option ‘View it in the iTunes’. You may either download the iTunes Store then but if you already have one in your device, you can easily roam across all the available apps from your downloaded iTunes Store.
2-Create Apple ID:
To download any app from the iTunes Store, you need to sign in using your Apple ID and Password. Else, you have to click on the Create Apple ID. It will take you to the next section, just follow the steps and fill in the required information. It will ask for your payment method as well, you may choose one as per your ease. Billing address details will also be required. A verification email is then sent at your provided email addresses. Verify your information and your Apple ID is successfully created.
3- Browse through the iTunes Store:
Enjoy your iTunes Store now. You will see a shortcut icon on desktop, click on it to enter your iTunes Store. The moment you enter into iTunes, you will be delighted to see so colorful world in front of your eyes. You will feel anxious to check out each and every option simultaneously and find out what it has for you. You need to have an internet connection to enjoy all this apps, games, book and podcasts. Do you want to stay up dated with the top chart? Or do you want to browse iPhone/iPad apps quickly. A very easy and user friendly interface will make your experience entertaining. You can make your own playlists or share your files on a home network with iTunes Store. There is a lot more to be explored on iTunesU which will add up to your knowledge. For the time being, we had to stop here and tell you how to download or buy your app.
4- Buy/ Download Apps from the Apple Store:
You must be waiting now to grab your first app from the App store. You can search any specific category as well. For example, we searched for iPhone Apps and the list is displayed along with proper information of category, release date and the purchase type. Some apps are free and some has a specific price. To download/buy any app click on it and it will start downloading. When the download is finished, its status will be changed to Downloaded. Now where to find the downloaded App? The panel on the left contains several categories including Library, Store, Shared, Genius and Playlists. Expand the library and you will find Music, Movies, TV shows, Apps, Radio. You can access your app from this App in the library. Let’s have a quick overview of iTunes 10.0 and see the new possibilities.
